Sorry, my first comment doesn't do much in the way of explaining our position on this. While we respect the intent of this bill to bolster the Montana wood products industry, it's really not that practical. In most instances, wood items for bridge decking are specialty products designed around maximum durability. Those products have limited availability in Montana as is. When similar products are available in state, pricing is another factor to consider as local options have been more expensive.
