HB 344

LC1169
Steve Gibson

Prohibit favoritism between for-profit and nonprofit corps in state contracts

1 comment:

  1. Missoula County opposes HB 344, prohibit favoritism betwen for-profit and nonprofit corporations in state contracts, particularly how it relates to community corrections programs contracted by the Department of Corrections. While cost is an important consideration in all contracts, public safety of our communities should be our number one priority. We are concerned that allowing for-profit corporations, particularly out-of-state for-proft corporations will not consider public safety a top priority as our nonprofit partners have for many years. Please oppose HB 344.
