This bill advises property buyers that a property is served by a private sewer system and enables them to get information about the condition of the system. It seems like a good idea but Environmental Health should weigh in on this one also.
Missoula County supports Senate Bill 191 as amended - Require septic system disclosure on property sale, before the Senate on second reading tomorrow morning. Missoula County thanks Senator Erickson for carrying the bill. SB 191 ensures information relative to septic systems is readily available to both sellers and potential buyers and protects all parties from future problems. Please support SB 191.
