Missoula County supports House Bill 515 - Provide for maximum number of dogs and minimum standards of care, before the House Agriculture Committee tomorrow afternoon. We would also like to thank Representative Malek for carrying the bill. HB 515 sets important guidelines for breeding and caring for dogs. Unfortunately, a lack of standards and guidance requires public sector agencies to intervene for the health and safety of the animals and the community. Setting important guidelines as outlined in HB 515 will benefit taxpayers, the owners, and ultimately the animals. Please support HB 515.
