Missoula County should oppose this bill. This bill would allow the air medical services to sell subscriptions to citizens of Missoula County in the attempt to lower the cost of air medical transport. In the case of Missoula County, with two air medical services, there is concern that this type of "membership" will result in possible delays in dispatch. The dispatch system currently uses a rotational basis that allows us to get an air medical unit dispatched during the early phases of the call. If we need to determine membership subscritpion and status of a particular flight service prior to dispatch to match the callers subscription there is the real possibility of delay. Chris
