Missoula County supports Senate Bill 416 - Restoring the balance and protections under the MT Environmental Policy Act, before Senate Natural Resources tomorrow afternoon. Missoula County thanks Senator Williams for carrying the bill. SB 416 strengthens the economic and resource base of Montana by reinforcing that the fact that MEPA substantively implements Montana's constitutional provisions. It provides for a transparent review process that provides a voice to the citizens of Montana when informed decisions are proposed in many levels of government. The bill further recognizes that Montana's economic livelihood is reliant on a clean and healthy environment that will encourage and foster appropriate business development. Please support SB 416.
