Missoula County supports House Bill 460 - revise unit ownership act to exclude townhouses, before the House Taxation Committee tomorrow morning. HB 460 would authorize the Department of Revenue to create a method to value townhouses since none exist now and would set the market value of a townhouse for a financial transaction. Amended into a bad bill - references condo exemption and could be interpreted to allow townhouse lots to avoid subdivision review.
